The Wattles Effect is a non-profit based out of New Hampshire that will financially sponsor New England athletes. These athletes will be in grades 6th-12th, participating in either football or wrestling events. 

  My goal is to help cover the cost of things like registration fees, equipment needs and to also help offset the costs of  travel expenses. My main form of fundraising will be through clothing sales. I have created six designs that will be available for purchase on either an athletic t-shirt or hoodie. All of the profits from each sale will go directly towards helping make an athletes dream become a reality! 

  As an athlete who plays football and competes in wrestling year-round, I have seen first-hand how expensive these sports can get. But at the same time, I have also seen the rewards it can bring as well. Recently I heard of a fellow teammate gain national recognition and have major opportunities come his way. Unfortunately, I also heard that he almost was unable to attend because of the finical burden it had created for family. So I thought to myself; this kid is incredibly talented, deserves to be there, and people need to see him play! It opened my eyes to how blessed I am that my parents can provide me such experiences and made me think how every kid deserves that chance! 

  There are so many programs available to athletes, at every level, that focus on drilling technique and teaching fundamentals into players that you might not get from a town team. These programs are putting kids across New England on the national radar more than ever before.  New England has so much talent that deserves to be seen and developed at every level. If I can even help just one athlete  get to a big camp, tournament or clinic and help make their dream become a reality? Then The Wattles Effect has made its IMPACT!
